Windows Live Mail will not open today. It worked fine yesterday.
Tried to troubleshoot the issue and I can not uninstall/repair it either in the control panel.

Original Title: windows 10 issues with live essentials
I was about to install windows 10 and got a notification stating that windows live essentials would not be available in this version. will my photos, movie maker, email, etc. still operate correctly or will I have to download other software to keep them operating as they are now? running as they are now? I have an outlook account but it is tied to my live mail account. ( I opened the outlook account thru the live mail account years ago)thanks in advance for any help you can give me

Windows Live Mail 2012 will not open. A box comes up in the upper right hand corner of the screen with three options.
Mail, calendar, and contacts but I cannot open any of these either. I did the repair and still not working. How does one get any help with this?

Error using windows live mail with gmail using pop3
Hi I am having an issue setting up gmail in WLM.
i have set up multiple machines, etc and never had this problem. WLM will NOT automatically fill in server settings, i follow the setting listed on googles site and MS's site. i see this is a common error number, any help would be appreciated.

I downloaded Windows 10 yesterday and have been having problems with E-mail folders ever since. The folder headings show up but they are all empty. The first message I get is that they are not synched. When I hit the synch button the folder is still empty. All of my saved information is gone.

Windows live mail and windows 10
I have installed windows 10 update onto my laptop. When I tried to go into my windows live mail 2012, it cane up with an error box,MSVCR110.DLL IS MISSING FROM YOUR COMPUTER. I reinstalled windows live mail and still got this message. I then uninstalled it completely then reinstalled it, still get this error. Can anyone help?

Cannot send emails--error message
Since my sending a "photo email" none of my emails reflect as "Sent." I can receive emails okay, but WLM produces this error message. On the Errors tab:
Delete the photo email, create a new one, and try to send it again.

I can't send email through a bluehost email account I get an ox800ccc0b error
I can receive but can't send. I've copied all the server info for outgoing (SMTP) and incoming (IMAP) exactly as it appears in my account settings on Bluehost, but it doesn't work. Help! Under the IMAP tab on Properties, the root folder path is blank. Is that perhaps the problem? What would I put there? The same server as the incoming and outgoing mail? Or the "box895.bluehost.com" that's indicated for SSL connections (this is not). So confused. Thanks for any help.

Windows Live Mail Problem Windows 8.1
When I type in the characters (6) into a message in Windows Live Mail, the characters get replace with the icon of a red devil's head. My research showed this was a problem back in Windows Vista also. No virus or malware scan that I have used has detected this malware, including the windows malware removal tool msert.exe or been able to remove it.

Windows Live Mail not responding
I am running Windows 7 and Windows Live Essentials 2012. When I open Windows Live Mail it shows the emails that I have received. There may be 1 or 21 the number is irrelevant. I begin at the top and open each in turn and delete as I go. At some point the
program stops working and the message Windows Live Mail not responding appears at the top of the screen. I have uninstalled WLE and then downloaded WLE from the MS site and reinstalled with no effect, it still goes into not responding. The screen freezes and
the little blue wheel spins. After a few seconds it begins to function again. I have my email set to check for mail every ten minutes.

after the upgrade, yesterday, from Windows 7 to Windows 10 Pro 64 bit I have a problem.
Windows Live Mail Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3528.0331).
I cannot create a new message.
I cannot reply to a message.
I cannot forward a message.
I have no problem with reading.
The error:

A problem has occurred. Please try again.
Repair the Windows Live Mail 2012 version and open as a administrator don't resolve the problem.
Any idea?

windows 10 when I click on the mail tile I get a box up saying. accounts, first thing first lets add your accounts. in the box its got
my outlook email address there which I use. and its got a old bt email address which I don't use.

Cant add outlook acount in windows live with 2 step verification on ... Please help
I have been using Windows live for years but recently I switched on 2 - step verification on this outlook account ( *** Email address is removed for privacy ***). Now windows live does not sync emails at all and keep asking for password over and over again. I generated app password but that does work too. Can somebody help ? I can not turn off 2 step verification .

Move mail from junk to inbox, keeps bouncing back
I am using Live Mail at our office. Sometimes mail comes into junk that isnt suppose to. I go through the normal steps to move it to the inbox by adding the senders email to the safe list, clicking the button saying Not Junk, or manually drag and dropping the messages to the inbox. I give it a minute or so and those messages will almost always bounce right back into the junk box. This will go on constantly and often I just give up!
What I think may be contributing to it is that we have 3 computers here, all running Live Mail and using the same email account. Im thinking when I move a message, the other computer is not seeing that and thinking its new junk mail or something, and keeps putting it back. So what I have tried moving the messages all at the same time on each computer, Ill see that they are in the inbox on all 3 computers, then they will all bounce it right back to junk....ugh!
Any thoughts??

can't log into windows live mail since upgrade to Win 10
Upgraded win 7 sp1 to win 10. now when I try to log into win live mail get errors: server error 3204 and win live mail error 0x8DE2003. I use Mozilla thunderbird to receive all of my email accounts and still get email that way as I just got your confirmation
