My Live Mail stopped working a few months ago. Was able to live with webmail for awhile but need to get it working again. It was initially failing on startup but I was able to change settings so that no email download would occur on startup. Windows Live will startup but fails with the stopped working message when I attempt a manual fetch of my email from Comcast.
I have tried a few things based on similar community threads including the following from moderator:, Glenda_A replied on June 7, 2013...
- Uninstall Essentials again using CMD line parameter (Please ensure to not just run wlarp, but perform the whole CMD uninstall steps.)
- Delete the following folders manually:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Live
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Windows Live - Disable 3rd party Firewall
- Reinstall Essentials using the latest installer.
Still failing....
Regards,
Lonny
