Windows Live Mail questions: Spelling Checker, Read Receipts, User accounts

Hello,

I recently got a new Windows 8.1 system, but needed an eMail client that was compatible with my ISP's mail servers. Windows Live Mail was the recommended solution.  I have been using Outlook Express 6, soLive Mail is fairly close... but I've already run into several things that are rather serious disadvantages for me underLive Mail:

  1. The spelling checker does nothing.  (It is on the toolbar, but always grayed out.  I even set the option to always check spelling before sending messages, but it still does nothing).  How do I get the spelling checker to work?
  2. I cannot find how to request read receipts for specific sent messages.  Is this read receipt function available inLive Mail, and if so, how do I access it?  (The only options I found only allow the request of read receipts for ALL sent messages, but I only want to do them on some messages).
  3. Each Email account has its own separate set of folders (Inbox, Sent, Junk, etc.).  I prefer to have the messages from all accounts go into one common set of folders - like they do inOutlook Express 6.  How can I set this up?
  4. Can the Junk Mail folders be eliminated and have all messages come into the Inbox(s) instead?  If so, how?
  5. When I reply to messages, it always applies the eAddress of my default eMail account as the return address - instead of applying the eAddress of the account that the message came in on.  How can I make it automatically use the account that the message was sent to?  (Outlook Express 6 did this automatically).

TIA...
