Live mail O/G SMTP port nubbering

A friend has just taken up Virgin Media cable service having previously been a TalkTalk ADSL customer.  She has been and is running windows Live mail 2012.  Originally setup for  husband and wife TalkTalk mail  accounts and now with Virgin Media mail accounts.

Currently TalkTalk mail is still in use whilst required contacts are notified of change though she would like to keep this open as a standby/.named security account

Big problem is cannot send from TalkTalk accounts

I trying to help I note that TalkTalk account settings a very different from Virgin Media; no outgoing server authentication, no SSL required on mail servers and different I/C and O/G server ports. (25/110).

The issue is coming down to O/G port number  in that, as I've found out, "...the owner of the port 25 SMTP server you are using (TalkTalk) must be the same as the entity providing your Internet connection (Virgin Media) at that moment....."

As her TalkTalk service is still up, connecting to that ISP poses no problem using both mail accounts incoming or outgoing - as expected ,TalkTalk OK sending and  receiving  and virgin OK sending and receiving. It's only when connected to Virgin as ISP that she has problem sending  from her TalkTalk account.

Obviously she want's to cancel TalkTalk service, sooner rather than later, but would like resolution to email issue.  Is there a way round this???
