This problem is driving me crazy. Windows Live Mail seems unable to be able to synchronize IMAP folders.
Windows Live Mail 2012
Windows 7 (64 bit)
IMAP
In Windows LIve Mail, every month I create a sub folder and move all customer product order emails there. I then employ a bulk email solution to collect the email address from the order messages and add them to my mailing list. I do this my using Windows
to navigate to the Windows Live Mail Directory and the correct folder. I then open my email address collector utility and extract the emails. Several weeks ago the email messages stopped being visible in the mailbox sub directory folder. I can see some
of the messages, but not all of them. The .eml files can not be viewed in Windows, nor by the third party collector. Out of 504 message files that should be available, only the first 100 messages can be seen.
Meanwhile, in Windows Live Mail, the email messages are in the sub folder and can be viewed, replied to, forwarded etc. Everything is normal.
My problem appears to be that the IMAP folders on the desktop are not being fulling synched by Windows Live Mail so that they are available on the client desktop. Why are these message files not being downloaded so they can accessed locally?
I seem to remember a "synchronize all" button in my old Outlook, but I can find so such feature in Windows Live Mail.
In Windows Live Mail I have gone to the Accounts > IMAP > All and hit "Reset" but no help.
Either that, or this is a problem with the properties settings in Windows. I have checked folder properties and as the user, I have full control.
Can someone help me???
