I am using Windows Live Mail 2012 in Windows 7 Ultimate. Starting on 1/10/2014 I have suddenly been getting error messages when trying to open some links in emails to various websites. Some are ones I have never ever had problems with before, such as amazon.com,
UPS tracking site, USPS tracking site, and others that are sent from contacts. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the WLM 2012 and am still getting the same error. Any suggestions of how to get rid of this error that will not open some links would
be very much appreciated. I have WLM on other Win7 machines and there is no problem opening these links. This one machine is the only one that it happens on, and it is my primary work machine, so I really do need to be able to open the links from this machines.
I have scanned my machine with my AV and 3 other malware, spyware and TrendMacro's Housecalls for any viri and ****, and they all come back clean. So I don't think it is related to any crud on the machine. Plus, it is only some links that it will not open.
And when there is a list of links in one email, it will open some just fine, and others I get the error. Very irritating. I would truly appreciate it if someone can give me some information on this error and how to resolve it. Thank you. :-)
