I never had a problem with this before, but upon resetting my laptop back to manufacture settings, installing all required updates including windows 8.1, when I install Windows Live essentials mail I get the following message when I try look at an email.
Message could not be displayed
Windows Live Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again.
Now I have 5 different email accounts (1 for banking, another for social media another for job purposes etc)
I get the same message for all accounts.
I have uninstalled, deleted all 'windows live' folders/subfolders re-installed. Still get the same message.
I use Norton anti-virus, I've tried disabling that + firewalls, still nothing.
Deleted internet web files/cache still nothing.
I use a HP Pavilion intel core i5 processor - 8GB RAM - 1TB HDD.
So space should not be an issue here as suggested by the error message.
Getting quite frustrated by it now as I said, this is the first time in my 7 years or so of using windows live mail.
Any help please?
