I am able to open Windows Live Mail 2011, on clicking on the icon on the desktop and the programme comes up normally. I can receive mail without a problem.
If i click on the left hand icon in the menu line "email message" (help tab "New email Ctl=N. Create a new email message"), a small message screen comes up with the message "A problem has occurred while trying to open this message. A problem has occurred. Please try again later."
The same message comes up if I try to reply to or forward a message.
It also comes up if I try to add a new event, but not if I try to add a new contact.
I have tried deleting Windows Live essentials and reloading a downloaded version, but the same problem still exists.
I would be grateful fo any advice on hoew to cure the problem.
