Windows Live Mail

I have been using Windows Live Mail for years without a problem.  My service provider is AT@T and they warned their customers to change their email settings by downloading and installing some AT&T software, which I did  Now I get a Windows Live Mail Error Message: Ox800CCC0D.  When I called AT&T, the tech said that she couldn't help me, that I would have to contact Microsoft, but that for $45 another AT&T tech would help me.

One thing my AT&T tech did tell me was that I must change some information in Windows Live Mail.  My incoming mail server must be on POP3.  I looked at my Windows Live Mail "Properties" and it was already there.  Next, change incoming mail to pop.att.yahoo.com--which I did.  Next, change outgoing mail to smtp.att.yahoo.com.--which I also did.  Then I went into the "Advanced" tab and changed the Outgoing mail to 465 and the Incoming mail to 995 as the tech suggested

I'm still getting that error message.  I can still get my emails at yahoo.com, so there is not a problem there.  Can someone suggest how I can fix my problems so I don't have to pay AT&T, who caused my problems in the first place.

If you need more info, let me know.

Thank you,

drawohna
