I used Windows Live Mail 2012 to import and read all my e-mail. I have no problem pulling in my e-mail from my Gmail or Hotmail accounts, but several weeks ago I started getting sporadic error messages when it would try to pull in my email from my AT&T/SBCglobal e-mail account. As of two weeks ago, it will not pull them in at all. I have no troublesending e-mail via Window Live Mail for my SBCglobal account, but cannot receive it via Windows Live Mail. I spent a long time on the phone with AT&T to make sure all the settings are correct, and they said it is definitely not a problem on their end and is instead a problem on the Windows end. Here is the full error message I receive:
Unable to send or receive messages for the Sbcglobal (e-mail address removed) account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.
Server: 'pop.att.yahoo.com'

Any help would be much appreciated!
